【MV】Francis and the Lights《Friends》w/ Justin Vernon & Kanye West

Here’s an odd music video.

But we love it all the same.

For starters, it features one of our favorite performers ever: Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver fame)… and secondly, for some reason Kanye West himself shows up in it.

The one-shot visual was directed by Jake Schreier and opens with West standing in a room wobbling. Yes, wobbling. The camera then pans to Francis and the Lights‘ Francis Farewell Starlite, who walks around and dances. From there, it pans to Starlite and Vernon, who do a synchronized dance together. At the end, we see West once again.

The track was co-written by former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij, BJ Burton, and the band’s own Aaron Lammer. It was produced by the aforementioned writers, Vernon, Starlite, Ariel Rechtshaid, Cashmere Cat, and Benny Blanco.
