Public Education on China’s Anti-Organized Crime Law

To fully implement the spirit of national documents and promote public education of the “Anti-Organized Crime Law of the People’s Republic of China”, strengthen the awareness and participation of teachers and students in the regular fight against organized crime, and effectively improve Fayao High School’s governance modernization capabilities and levels, Tianjin Fayao High School held a conference on publicizing and implementing the theme of China’s Anti-Organized Crime Law.

On December 24, 2021, the 13th National People’s Congress Standing Committee passed the Anti-Organized Crime Law at its 32nd meeting. This law came into effect on May 1, 2022.

The “Anti-Organized Crime Law of the People’s Republic of China” was formulated according to the Constitution to prevent and punish organized crime, strengthen and standardize work against organized crime, maintain national security, social order, economic order, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and organizations.

On the morning of September 22, 2023, Tianjin Fayao High School held a conference on the theme of the Anti-Organized Crime Law. The principal Yang Xiaoke, vice principals Guo Haiyan and Wang Hailin from the general high school department, as well as responsible persons from relevant departments and specialized class members participated in the conference.

The conference emphasized the importance of the school deeply studying the Anti-Organized Crime Law, especially in maintaining campus security, strengthening legal education, and cultivating students’ legal concepts. The conference pointed out that by learning and implementing the Anti-Organized Crime Law, the legal awareness of teachers and staff can be improved, the rule of law culture on campus can be strengthened, and organized criminal acts can be effectively prevented and combated.

The conference called on all faculty, staff and students of the school to seriously study and implement the content of the Anti-Organized Crime Law, actively participate in the construction of campus rule of law, and work together to create a harmonious, safe and law-abiding campus environment.
