Fayao High School Organized a Safety Evacuation Drill

In order to further enhance the safety awareness of Fayao’s students and staff, improve their ability to protect themselves, self-rescue, defend against disasters, and ensure the personal and property safety of the school’s students and faculty, as well as ensure timely evacuation and smooth escape in case of emergencies, our school conducted a safety evacuation drill on the morning of September 14th.

Before the drill, the school developed a detailed fire evacuation plan, which clearly outlined the evacuation routes for each class and the assembly points after evacuation, and specified the responsibilities of each teacher.

As the alarm sounded, teachers from each class quickly organized the evacuation of students. Following the teachers’ instructions, the students bent over, covered their mouths and noses, and quickly proceeded along the designated routes to a safe area for shelter. The entire evacuation process was rapid and orderly.

The school invited firefighters from the Tianjin Yan’an Road Fire Rescue Station, who have rich experience in the field of firefighting. They provided detailed information to the students about fire escape, introduced different types of fire extinguishing equipment and how to use them correctly.

During the drill, the students personally experienced how to correctly use fire extinguishers, safety passages, etc., and how to remain calm and avoid panic when a fire occurs. This hands-on operation helped them better understand and master the skills of dealing with fires.

After the drill activity concluded, Guo Haiyan, the vice principal of Tianjin Fayao High School, summarized and affirmed the successes of this drill, re-emphasized the important significance of safety drills, and called on teachers and students to effectively improve safety awareness and self-rescue and self-protection abilities, be prepared for danger in times of peace, and have contingency plans for unexpected events.

The safety evacuation drill not only enhanced the students’ safety awareness, but also improved their confidence in dealing with emergencies. Through interacting with firefighters, the students understood the importance of remaining calm and taking prompt action during a fire, and also learned how to correctly use fire extinguishers and other equipment to protect themselves and others.

Thank you to the firefighters from Tianjin Yan’an Road Fire Rescue Station, and thank you to the students for their active participation. Let us work together to spread safety knowledge, so that everyone can enjoy a safe learning and living environment.

Let us jointly advocate for safety awareness and protect our future together!
